Get your kilt on and join us on Sunday 30th April 2023 for a fundraising adventure!
Kiltwalk is a fantastic fundraising experience which we are participating in for the first time in 2023. Join us and thousands of other people as we walk a wee bit or a long way to Loch Lomond with 100% of the funds you raise going towards activities for young people with disabilities in Glasgow.
You can find out much more about taking part through the links below, but in summary you sign up for one of three distances:
- the Mighty Stride (22.7 miles)
- the Big Stroll (14.3 miles) or
- the Wee Wander (approx. 3.1 miles).
The entire route is wheelchair accessible and we’d love to see as many of our young members taking part as possible. If you are not able to provide the support on the day we will assign some of our volunteers to help out and they’ll be around anyway to help out for a stretch of the walk!
Everyone who participates will receive:
- A special Glasgow Disabled Scouts t-shirt
- Refreshments at various stages along the route
- Fundraising support (including help to set up your fundraising page)
- A special Kiltwalk medal no matter what distance you complete!
The Kiltwalk has a registration fee paid by all participants, depending on the length of walk you want to complete. Currently this is at discount rate of £20 for the longest routes and £12.50 for the Wee Wander.
